I am designing a logo for a clothing company called ‘Bellissimo’.  I want the logo of the company to be elegant as the meaning of the brand means ‘beautiful’. The reasoning behind the Italian name is because I want the clothing brand to be very feminine and I would also like it to be a powerful brand for women. The logo will be a print version as it is going onto clothing, which will be made in Photoshop. My audience is obviously women, as it is a clothing brand/product for them. The audience isn’t really aimed at a particular female type but it can apply to any as I want the brand to make them feel beautiful and elegant.  

In the process of making my logo, I used an appropriate design and manipulated it using the adobe Photoshop software. In the workspace I used about two toolbar options to make the logo. The file information for the size of the image is 15cm – 15cm – 100 pixels/cm.

For floating palettes tools and features, I used only two different colours (black and white) and only two layers that were used. The size of my text is roughly 61.33pt, font used was minion pro, with regular and smooth features. I used the tools to obviously select my objects, clone tool was used because I had to duplicate my only layer. I used motion blur to blur the white layer of the word to give a sort of a shadow effect to it.
